Kitchen
In 2004 we had our kitchen at the Gatwick B & B comletely refitted. It was a massive job as the whole room was stripped back to brick, re-plastered, new ceiling with 600 watts of lighting and insulated against sound, newly screeded floor and all re tiled. Then the kitchen fitter came in and installed all the cupboards and appliances.
When he had finished the guys from Town and Country marble came in and fitted the granite, these guys were great. The best and most professional company I have ever dealt with and it really shows in the results.
The bed and breakfast bar is for “help-yourself” breakfasts for early starters (before 07:00) and aircrew. In the summer the doors can be opened to gain access to an outside seating area. Guests are invited to sit at the bar for tea, coffee or just a chat. A new decking area should be built mid 2006 making the outside seating area 4 times bigger. |
